Jordan, a high school junior, was still exploring their path and searching for something to spark their interest —until they stumbled upon the Student-Led Enterprise (SLE) program at their school, a NewCo Foundation initiative. Intrigued by products made by students and sold in the community, Jordan decided to give it a try.
From the start, the on-campus business immersed Jordan in every aspect of building an enterprise: product design, marketing, budgeting. In addition to being a paid intern, they quickly discovered hidden talents—a knack for organization, a creative eye for design, and an unexpected confidence. With guidance from mentors and support from peers, Jordan helped launch a line of custom T-shirts, learning the power of teamwork and innovation.
By the end of the year, Jordan wasn’t just selling products—they were crafting a future filled with possibilities. The SLE program didn’t just give them skills; it showed Jordan they have what it takes to succeed in whatever path they choose.
